We have another new investigator this week, a new converts daughter. She came to church with her mom this Sunday!!! It was awesome. The first time she's been since missionaries have been over there visiting them. It's because she used to work on sundays but was fired from her job. But she's told us about miracles she's seen since getting fired :) God works in mysterious ways.
We now have cockroaches thanks to the elders. Our table was falling apart and they were moving apartments and needed to get rid of their table. So they came over and dropped the table off. So far we've seen 2 cockroaches crawling out of the table!! And we asked the elders, they said yes, they had cockroaches in their last pad :( I read an article this morning and one person said "I realized that just as the missionary training center was preparation for the mission field, my missionary service was preparation for life--and this life is preparation for eternal life." Planning is definitely something I'll continue after my mission and also goal setting. Obviously a little simplified. But I'll probably set goals (spiritual, social, physical and mental) each Sunday and then each day making sure I have a little bit of a plan for my day so I don't sit around doing nothing. I'm excited to be able to go to the temple more when I get home. The only thing I don't like with being on a mission, we only get to go to the temple twice a year!!! So I'm gonna definitely try to take advantage of the opportunity and go more when I get home.
Hermana Fernandez came yesterday to visit!!! And she came with her husband. She was so surprised that I'm still in Fletcher. It was really good to see her!!! She gives the best hugs and I haven't had a good hug in a while. Hermana Westergard is going to be jealous that I saw Hermana Fernandez haha. I forgot to take a pic with her though.
Love, Hermana Hansen
