were companions too! Haha. On Monday night I think, Effy, an Hermana from our Ward, took us to Denny's and told us to order whatever we wanted. She's taking us
out to brunch on Wednesday for Christmas Eve. She is like our mom out
here. We had a fun christmas party.
I hope the package gets to you soon!!! It was supposed to be there
last Thursday! I'm just waiting for my weight to start going up. I've started to realize
already that I'm getting used to the huge helpings they feed us here
and it's a little scary haha. But we've got a good, super hard
(hardest of my life) exercise program going. We bike all day and to
the church twice a week which is 30 min. uphill. And in the mornings
we run and we're going to start riding bikes too. We did a 30 minute
run on Tuesday morning. Partially uphill...I thought I was gonna die.
But I'm getting pretty muscular. And with having to carry my bike up
and down stairs all the time, I'm getting some good definition to my
arms!!! It's been in the 60s here all week which probably sounds warm
to you, but I'm accustomed to Cali weather and everybody's been
bundling up. I never thought I'd say 60 degrees feels cold haha.
I hope I can skype but I don't have my Apple ID password and can't
download skype. So it will probably be FaceTime...:( but I'll let you
know when I call before. Thanks for the quote. My quote of the week
for you is this:
"There is a still small voice telling us what is right, and if we
listen to that still small voice we shall grow and increase in
strength and power, in testimony and ability not only to live the
gospel, but to inspire others to do so." -Heber J. Grant ("The Path of
Safety," Dec. 1937)
I love you so much and I'm excited to talk to you in 3 days!!!
Lots of love, Hermana Hansen
