Wow, sounds like it's been cold. It was warm over here but the last couple days have been cold and rainy.
Eh, our investigators aren't progressing super fast. The 11 year old girl still hasn't really accepted the baptismal date. We talked about faith and how maybe God is just trusting her to make the right decision. She's just scared to and keeps putting it off, even though she says she knows she needs to be baptized. But we're working on picking up new investigators and working with some former investigators too. Um we usually don't do door to door (sometimes) but it's just not nearly as effective. The members around here in our area don't give us referrals. We've asked a few times, but they always say they'd have to think about it.
We did exchanges this weekend Friday night to Saturday night. I was supposed to stay and take over the area but they changed last second and I went back to east la again but with Hermana Beckett this time. :) it was lots of fun. We did a service project and actually drove into Alhambra for a lesson since they cover the YSA Ward that cover the east half of our mission. It was cool.
This last Saturday and Sunday was stake conference!!! We were invited to the adult session Saturday because they talked about missionary work and president villanueva spoke. And then Sunday after the general session, there was a baptism for the investigator of some elders in our Ward. It was awesome, and tons of people showed up!
Haha yeah my hair is quite a bit shorter now, especially when I put it in a ponytail or braid!
We went on a cool hike today as a zone up to some waterfall. It was raining almost the whole time but it was a ton of fun. I really miss going camping and boating and hiking. I dot have a ton of time today because of the hike.
Love, Hermana Hansen
